After Being a Beast Supermodel, My Hockey Ex Regretted It

Is After Being a Beast Supermodel, My Hockey Ex Regretted It Worth Your Time?

The premise of "After Being a Beast Supermodel, My Hockey Ex Regretted It" is a deliciously absurd cocktail that short-form drama fans live for: a beastwoman hiding a past-life supermodel identity, a hockey ex who wronged her, and a campus setting ripe for revenge. From the first episode, the show hooks viewers with its high-concept twist and rapid-fire pacing, wasting no time in establishing Kayla's secret and Lucas's regret. The narrative momentum is relentless, each cliffhanger pulling you deeper into the glittering, backstabbing world of campus fashion and supernatural glamour.

Community discussions across Reddit and MyDramaList reveal a consensus that the drama excels at delivering satisfying revenge beats and empowering moments. Kayla's agency is a highlight—she's not just a victim but a proactive heroine who owns her identity and turns the tables on her bullies. The chemistry between Kayla and Lucas is palpable, and audiences cheer when he defends her against Lucy's schemes. However, some viewers note that the misunderstanding trope feels stretched thin, and the melodrama occasionally tips into overdrive, with pacing that rushes through key confrontations. Lucy's villainy is deliciously over-the-top, but her downfall, while cathartic, follows a predictable path. Still, the hidden identity reveal and the all-too-late regret are executed with flair, keeping fans engaged despite the occasional narrative shortcut.

Ultimately, this drama justifies its 60-episode run with a binge-worthy blend of empowerment, romance, and just enough camp to keep things fun. It's best suited for fans of female-driven revenge stories and supernatural twists who don't mind a little melodrama. While it may not convert skeptics of the genre, its replay value is high for those who love watching the underdog triumph. If you're here for the beast supermodel's rise and the hockey ex's groveling, you'll leave satisfied.
