Dear Ex, Kiss My Crown (DUBBED)

EDITORIAL REVIEW / CRITIC'S TAKE

Is Dear Ex, Kiss My Crown (DUBBED) Worth Your Time?

The premise of "Dear Ex, Kiss My Crown" is a sugar-coated grenade: a woman scorned, a hidden billionaire heiress, and a public humiliation that detonates into glorious revenge. From the first episode, the drama hooks viewers with its promise of a spectacular comeuppance, and the vertical format amplifies the tension—each cliffhanger lands like a slap. The early episodes waste no time establishing the ex-husband's arrogance and the protagonist's quiet suffering, making her eventual reveal feel both inevitable and deliciously earned. It's the kind of narrative momentum that keeps thumbs scrolling and coins dropping.

Across community boards, the consensus is that the show delivers on its core tropes with satisfying precision. Fans celebrate the protagonist's agency—she's not merely a victim but a strategist, and her chemistry with the loyal ally adds a sweet counterpoint to the bitterness of betrayal. The hidden identity trope is executed with enough flair to forgive its predictability, and the gala climax is frequently cited as a standout moment. However, some viewers note pacing issues in the middle stretch, where melodrama threatens to tip into excess, and a few criticize the mistress's cartoonish villainy. Still, the overall sentiment is that the revenge is worth the ride, even if the journey has a few bumps.

For those who crave a quick, cathartic binge, "Dear Ex, Kiss My Crown" is a justified investment of time and coins. It's best suited for fans of revenge fantasies and hidden-identity romances who don't mind a little melodrama with their justice. The replay value is moderate—the climax is rewatchable, but the buildup may lose its edge on a second viewing. If you're in the mood for a satisfying takedown with a side of romance, this crown is worth wearing.
