From Betrayed Luna to Crowned Princess

EDITORIAL REVIEW / CRITIC'S TAKE

Is From Betrayed Luna to Crowned Princess Worth Your Time?

From Betrayed Luna to Crowned Princess opens with a premise that feels like a shot of adrenaline to the heart: Ravena, a woman who sacrifices her very essence to honor her mother's dying wish, only to be cast aside by a husband who returns from war with another woman on his arm. It's a classic setup for righteous fury, and the 48-episode vertical drama wastes no time plunging viewers into a world where power, betrayal, and destiny collide. The promise of a heroine who rises from humiliation to claim her rightful crown is irresistible, and the added layers of murdered parents and a greedy king elevate the stakes beyond simple revenge.

Audiences have flocked to this series for its unapologetic embrace of werewolf romance tropes, and the community consensus is that it delivers exactly what it promises—with a few delicious twists. The fated mate reveal with Prince Evander had fans swooning, while the king's treachery sparked heated debates about power and agency. Viewers praise the pacing, noting that the 48-episode format allows for satisfying character development without dragging. However, some criticize the familiar beats: the humiliating return of the Alpha, the convenient wizard clues, and the noble prince savior. Yet even skeptics admit that the execution is sharp, with standout performances and a heroine whose resilience feels earned. The series knows its audience and leans into the melodrama with a wink, making it a guilty pleasure that's hard to resist.

In the end, From Betrayed Luna to Crowned Princess is a triumph of the vertical drama form—a binge-worthy escape that balances heartbreak and empowerment with just enough camp to keep things fun. It's not groundbreaking, but it's thoroughly satisfying, and Ravena's journey from doormat to queen is the kind of wish-fulfillment we all need sometimes. For fans of the genre, this is a must-watch; for newcomers, it's a perfect entry point. Rating: 8.3/10, with 84% of viewers giving it a positive score.
