From Scapegoat to Sweetheart: A Revenge Plan

EDITORIAL REVIEW / CRITIC'S TAKE

Is From Scapegoat to Sweetheart: A Revenge Plan Worth Your Time?

MoboReels' "From Scapegoat to Sweetheart: A Revenge Plan" opens with a premise that is pure catnip for vertical-drama devotees: a wronged heiress, buried under false accusations, quietly assembles a revenge scheme while playing the dutiful employee. The early episodes waste no time, hooking viewers with the sting of injustice and the promise of a slow-burn counterattack. Each cliffhanger—a whispered secret, a loaded glance in the boardroom—pulls you deeper into the 71-episode grind, and the narrative momentum rarely flags, even when the plot takes familiar detours.

Across forums like Reddit and MyDramaList, the consensus is that the show's beating heart is its heroine's agency. Audiences cheer as she outmaneuvers her uncle and cousins, and the gradual romance with the CEO earns praise for its restrained chemistry—no insta-love here, just a believable thaw. The hidden-identity trope is executed with satisfying precision, and the boardroom climax delivers the schadenfreude viewers crave. Yet not all is smooth: critics note that the middle stretch sags under repetitive misunderstandings and melodramatic padding, with some side characters feeling like plot devices. Still, the community largely forgives these flaws for the sheer satisfaction of the final reveal and the villains' comeuppance.

For those who relish a well-executed revenge fantasy with a sweet romantic core, this drama justifies the coins and the binge. It's best suited to fans of CEO romance and counterattack narratives who don't mind a few pacing hiccups. While it won't convert skeptics of the genre, its replay value is solid—especially the boardroom showdown, which begs for a rewatch. A guilty pleasure that earns its sweet payoff.
