Horror Game 2：Dom The Prison Devil OR BE DOMMED

EDITORIAL REVIEW / CRITIC'S TAKE

Is Horror Game 2：Dom The Prison Devil OR BE DOMMED Worth Your Time?

NetShort's "Horror Game 2: Dom The Prison Devil OR BE DOMMED" lures viewers with a tantalizing blend of horror, romance, and power dynamics. The premise—a woman trapped in a prison where affection points are currency and her demon captor's curse hinges on her love—hooks from the first episode. The early episodes waste no time establishing the high-stakes game, with Cecilia's peril and Valdez's menacing allure creating immediate tension. The narrative momentum is relentless, each short episode ending on a cliffhanger that practically demands the next click, making it a quintessential binge-worthy vertical drama.

Community discussions across Reddit and MyDramaList reveal a consensus: the chemistry between Cecilia and Valdez is electric, and the reversal of power—from pet to equal—is celebrated as a refreshing take on the forced love trope. Fans appreciate Cecilia's growing agency, though some criticize her initial passivity. The revenge against corrupt officials and sadistic guards delivers satisfying closure, but the middle episodes suffer from pacing issues, with repetitive conflict and melodramatic misunderstandings that feel drawn out. The hidden identity of Valdez's demon form and the betrayal by prison officials are handled with adequate twists, though seasoned viewers may find them predictable. Overall, audiences enjoy the sweet romance amidst the horror, but note that the short format sometimes rushes emotional beats.

For those who relish dark romance with a supernatural twist and don't mind a bit of melodrama, this drama justifies the coins. It's best suited for fans of forced proximity and enemies-to-lovers tropes who appreciate a strong finish. The replay value is moderate—the journey is enjoyable, but the predictable plot may deter rewatching. Binge it once for the intense chemistry and satisfying comeuppance, but don't expect groundbreaking storytelling.
