I'm Done Chasing A Brat!

EDITORIAL REVIEW / CRITIC'S TAKE

Is I'm Done Chasing A Brat! Worth Your Time?

DramaBox's "I'm Done Chasing A Brat!" opens with a premise that feels like a shot of adrenaline for short-form viewers: a fed-up protagonist who stops playing the doting enabler and starts plotting a spectacular revenge. The early episodes hook us by dangling the promise of a hidden identity—she's not just a doormat, she's a wealthy heiress in disguise—and the narrative momentum builds as each micro-episode peels back another layer of her secret power. It's the kind of setup that makes you want to binge just to see the brat's face when the truth drops.

Across forums like Reddit and MyDramaList, the community consensus is that this drama delivers on its core tropes with satisfying precision. Audiences celebrate the protagonist's agency—she's not a passive victim but a mastermind—and the chemistry between her and the supportive love interest is often praised as a refreshing counterpoint to the toxic dynamic with the brat. The betrayal and hidden identity tropes are handled with enough twists to keep viewers guessing, though some critics note that the middle episodes drag with repetitive misunderstandings and melodramatic padding. The revenge payoff, however, is widely deemed worth the wait, with the public humiliation and financial ruin of the villains providing a cathartic climax that had clip reactions buzzing.

As a columnist, I'd say this drama justifies its coins for fans of underdog rise and revenge fantasies. It's best suited for viewers who relish a satisfying comeuppance and don't mind a few pacing hiccups along the way. The replay value is solid—those climactic reveal scenes are worth rewatching—and for a 50-episode vertical series, it delivers a complete, emotionally resonant arc. If you're in the mood for a stylish, empowering counterattack, this one's a worthy binge.
