Meeting Every Version of You

EDITORIAL REVIEW / CRITIC'S TAKE

Is Meeting Every Version of You Worth Your Time?

What if every version of your lover across parallel worlds is the same soul? That's the tantalizing hook of "Meeting Every Version of You," a vertical short drama that wastes no time plunging viewers into a multiverse of romance and revenge. From the first episode, the show establishes a breakneck pace, introducing a protagonist who discovers her lover exists in multiple realities—each with a different personality and agenda. The early episodes hook with the promise of hidden identities and the thrill of uncovering a cosmic conspiracy, keeping audiences swiping for the next cliffhanger. The narrative momentum is relentless, as each short episode peels back another layer of the mystery, making it irresistible for binge-watchers.

Community discussions across Reddit and MyDramaList reveal a consensus: the chemistry between the leads is electric, and the handling of tropes like revenge and betrayal is both familiar and fresh. Fans celebrate the protagonist's agency—she's no passive damsel but an active force driving the plot. However, some viewers note that the melodrama can feel rushed, with certain twists telegraphed too early, and the pacing occasionally stumbles as the multiverse rules become convoluted. The hidden identity trope is executed with flair, but the revenge arc sometimes overshadows the romance, leaving some longing for more intimate moments. Still, the community agrees that the show's ambition and emotional beats outweigh its flaws, with many praising the climax where the rogue guardian is erased from every timeline—a satisfying comeuppance that had viewers cheering.

For those who crave high-concept romance with a dash of cosmic intrigue, "Meeting Every Version of You" is a worthwhile investment of time and coins. It's best suited for fans of short-form drama who enjoy fast-paced storytelling and don't mind a little melodrama. While the replay value is moderate—the twists lose some impact on second viewing—the binge factor is high, thanks to its addictive cliffhangers. If you're looking for a quick, emotionally charged escape that explores love across dimensions, this one delivers.
