More Than Love, Forever Us

EDITORIAL REVIEW / CRITIC'S TAKE

Is More Than Love, Forever Us Worth Your Time?

MiniShort's "More Than Love, Forever Us" dangles a tantalizing premise: a woman erased from her own life, watching an impostor wear her face, her fortune, and her fiancé. The early episodes hook with a slow-burn reveal—each micro-cliffhanger tightens the vise, as the stepsister's charade grows bolder and the heroine's quiet fury simmers. The narrative momentum is relentless, powered by the delicious anticipation of the inevitable public unmasking. It's the kind of setup that makes vertical drama addictive: you know the explosion is coming, and you're just waiting for the fuse to reach the dynamite.

Across forums and clip reactions, viewers celebrate the catharsis of the gala climax—the live DNA test and hidden camera footage delivering a knockout blow that feels earned. The stepsister's downfall, complete with arrest and exile, satisfies the revenge trope's core promise. Yet consensus also flags uneven pacing: some middle episodes stretch credulity with repetitive misunderstandings, and the male lead's obliviousness tests patience. Chemistry between the leads is praised, but character agency sometimes takes a backseat to plot mechanics. The hidden identity trope is handled with gleeful melodrama, though critics note the stepsister's schemes occasionally veer into cartoonish territory. Still, the community agrees: when the payoff lands, it lands hard.

For those who relish a crisp, satisfying revenge arc with a side of romance, this drama justifies the coins—especially if you binge the final stretch. It's best suited for fans of betrayal-and-comeuppance tales who can forgive a few saggy middle episodes. Replay value is moderate; the climax is rewatchable, but the journey there may not beckon twice. A solid, if imperfect, entry in the vertical drama canon.
