My CEO Loves My Voice

EDITORIAL REVIEW / CRITIC'S TAKE

Is My CEO Loves My Voice Worth Your Time?

DramaBox's "My CEO Loves My Voice" hooks viewers with a premise that is pure catnip for vertical short drama fans: a billionaire who falls for a disembodied voice, unaware that his mysterious confidante is the overlooked assistant right under his nose. The early episodes lean hard into this delicious irony, building narrative momentum through near-misses and charged phone calls that keep the audience leaning in. It's a classic hidden-identity setup, but the voice-only romance adds a fresh, intimate twist that makes the will-they-won't-they feel surprisingly modern.

Community discussions across Reddit and MyDramaList reveal a consensus that the drama delivers on its core tropes—revenge, betrayal, and hidden identity—with satisfying efficiency. Audiences celebrate the female lead's quiet agency and the crackling chemistry that transcends the phone line, while the villain's impersonation scheme provides juicy conflict. However, some viewers note that the middle episodes sag under repetitive misunderstandings and melodramatic padding, with the rival's schemes becoming cartoonishly transparent. Still, the gala climax—where the CEO publicly declares his love and exposes the impostor—earns widespread praise for its cathartic payoff, even if the resolution feels rushed in the final stretch.

For those who relish a brisk, trope-heavy romance with a satisfying comeuppance, "My CEO Loves My Voice" justifies its 52-episode commitment, though casual viewers might find the middle stretch a test of patience. It's best suited for genre enthusiasts who enjoy billionaire fantasies with a side of corporate intrigue and don't mind a little melodrama. Binge value is high for the first and last thirds, making it a worthy coin drop for fans of the form.
