Is Sleeping Beauty's Revenge (English-dubbed) Worth Your Time?

MiniShort's "Sleeping Beauty's Revenge" dangles a deliciously twisted premise: a princess who was never truly asleep, her legendary slumber a calculated trap for the traitors who cursed her. That single reveal recontextualizes the familiar fairy tale into a revenge thriller, and the English dub makes the scheming accessible to a wider audience. Early episodes hook viewers with rapid-fire twists and the promise of a grand unmasking, while the vertical format ensures every scene lands with punchy, scroll-stopping momentum. It's the kind of setup that makes you tap "next episode" before you've even realized you've spent your coins.

Across Reddit threads and MyDramaList boards, fans celebrate Aurora's agency—she's no passive damsel but a strategist playing the long game. The stepmother's downfall and the public disgrace deliver the schadenfreude that revenge tropes promise, and the hidden-identity angle keeps the tension simmering. Yet consensus also flags the melodrama's uneven pacing: some viewers note that the middle episodes stretch the misunderstanding thin, and the prince's role feels underdeveloped until the final act. Chemistry between leads is praised but not universally swooned over, and a few critics argue the betrayal subplot resolves too cleanly. Still, the community agrees the climax—where Aurora exposes the decoy spindle and reclaims her throne—is a satisfying payoff that justifies the ride.

For those who crave a fairy-tale remix with a cunning heroine and a crisp, dub-friendly pace, this one earns its place in your queue. It's best suited to fans of short-form revenge dramas who value clever twists over deep character studies. While the middle sags and the romance takes a backseat to scheming, the finale's empowerment arc and the villain's comeuppance make it a worthwhile binge—especially if you're hunting for a quick, satisfying watch that sticks the landing.
