Starting Fresh with Three Gorgeous Girlfriends in a Savage World

Is Starting Fresh with Three Gorgeous Girlfriends in a Savage World Worth Your Time?

NetShort's "Starting Fresh with Three Gorgeous Girlfriends in a Savage World" hooks viewers with a tantalizing blend of isekai wish-fulfillment and underdog grit. Arthur Pendragon, a transmigrated heir, awakens dragon-blood lineage in a brutal world, and the early episodes waste no time thrusting him into perilous conflicts with warlords and scheming advisors. The premise promises a power fantasy with a harem twist, and the rapid-fire pacing—each episode clocking in under two minutes—keeps the narrative momentum brisk, ensuring viewers are immediately invested in Arthur's rise from zero to hero.

Community discussions across Reddit and MyDramaList reveal a consensus that the show excels at delivering guilty-pleasure tropes with surprising efficiency. Fans celebrate the chemistry between Arthur and his three companions, noting that each girlfriend brings distinct agency to the table—one a fierce warrior, another a cunning strategist, and the third a compassionate healer. The hidden identity trope is handled with satisfying reveals, and the revenge arc against the treacherous warlord resonates. However, critics point out that the middle episodes suffer from repetitive misunderstandings and melodramatic padding, with some plot twists feeling forced to stretch the runtime. The betrayal subplot, while engaging, lacks nuanced foreshadowing, and the harem dynamics occasionally overshadow character depth. Still, the community agrees that the climax—Arthur's public execution turned dragon-powered triumph—delivers a rousing payoff that justifies the journey.

For viewers seeking a quick, bingeable escape with high stakes and gorgeous companions, this drama justifies the coins. It's best suited for fans of underdog rise stories and time-travel tropes who can overlook occasional pacing hiccups. While not groundbreaking, its replay value lies in the satisfying villain downfall and the heartwarming kingdom-building finale. If you're in for a wild, trope-filled ride, this savage world is worth a visit.
