The CEO Found His Savior And His Son

EDITORIAL REVIEW / CRITIC'S TAKE

Is The CEO Found His Savior And His Son Worth Your Time?

MoboReels' "The CEO Found His Savior And His Son" hooks viewers with a tantalizing premise: a one-night stand years ago yields a secret son, and the CEO's savior is none other than his lost love. The 87-episode vertical drama wastes no time, plunging into hidden identity and simmering tension from the first episode. The promise of a public DNA test and a recorded confession keeps the narrative momentum brisk, as each short episode ends on a cliffhanger that makes it nearly impossible not to tap for the next. It's the kind of high-stakes, trope-heavy setup that short-form audiences devour, and the show knows exactly how to bait its hook.

Across community boards like Reddit and MyDramaList, viewers are split on the execution. Many celebrate the fiery chemistry between the leads and the satisfying schadenfreude of the villain's downfall—the jealous ex and her accomplice get a deliciously public comeuppance that fans call "worth the wait." The core tropes of hidden identity, betrayal, and revenge are handled with gleeful melodrama, though some criticize the pacing: the middle episodes reportedly drag with repetitive misunderstandings, and the CEO's denseness strains patience. Character agency is a mixed bag; the female lead is praised for her resilience, but her passivity in key moments frustrates those expecting a more proactive heroine. Still, the community agrees that the climax delivers on its promises, even if the journey there is uneven.

As a critic, I find "The CEO Found His Savior And His Son" a guilty-pleasure binge that knows its audience. It's not groundbreaking, but it executes its tropes with enough flair and emotional payoff to justify the coins for genre devotees. If you relish CEO romances with secret babies, revenge, and a dash of courtroom drama, this is your jam. The replay value is moderate—the climax is rewatchable, but the filler may test your patience. For a quick, addictive fix, it's a solid 8.3.
