The CEO's Superpowered Bodyguard

EDITORIAL REVIEW / CRITIC'S TAKE

Is The CEO's Superpowered Bodyguard Worth Your Time?

StardustTV's "The CEO's Superpowered Bodyguard" hooks viewers with a tantalizing blend of corporate intrigue and sci-fi romance. The premise—a bodyguard with telekinetic abilities protecting a CEO from boardroom conspiracies—immediately sets a high-stakes tone. Early episodes waste no time establishing the hidden identity and brewing revenge, pulling audiences into a world where every shareholder meeting could be a battleground. The narrative momentum is relentless, with each short episode ending on a cliffhanger that makes it nearly impossible to stop watching. It's the kind of pulpy, fast-paced storytelling that vertical drama fans devour.

Community discussions across Reddit and MyDramaList reveal a consensus: the chemistry between the CEO and her superpowered protector is electric, and the gradual reveal of his abilities is handled with satisfying pacing. Fans celebrate the female CEO's agency—she's not a damsel but a shrewd strategist—and the revenge arc against the corrupt board delivers guilty-pleasure thrills. However, critics note that the betrayal subplot involving the scheming ex-assistant feels rushed, and some misunderstandings border on melodramatic cliché. The telekinetic showdown at the shareholder coup is a standout, but a few viewers found the middle episodes lagging, with repetitive power displays. Still, the hidden identity trope is executed with enough twists to keep the community engaged.

Ultimately, "The CEO's Superpowered Bodyguard" justifies its 48-episode run with a satisfying climax and a romantic payoff that will please fans of the genre. It's best suited for viewers who enjoy over-the-top action mixed with office romance and don't mind a bit of melodrama. The binge value is high—short episodes make it easy to consume in one sitting—and the replay factor is moderate, as the reveal loses some impact on second viewing. For those craving a quick, addictive escape, this drama delivers.
