The Fall‑and‑Rise Revenge of the Chubby Succubus Princess

Is The Fall‑and‑Rise Revenge of the Chubby Succubus Princess Worth Your Time?

NetShort's "The Fall-and-Rise Revenge of the Chubby Succubus Princess" hooks viewers with a premise that blends body-positive fantasy with a classic revenge arc. Lorelei, a curvy succubus princess, is betrayed and buried alive by her scheming sister and fiancé, only to be reborn with a bloodline connection to Satan himself. The early episodes waste no time establishing the stakes: within minutes, we witness her humiliation, death, and resurrection, setting a brisk pace that keeps short-form viewers scrolling. The promise of watching a marginalized heroine reclaim her power and make her tormentors kneel is irresistible, and the show delivers on that fantasy with fiery, satisfying momentum.

Community discussions across Reddit and MyDramaList reveal a consensus that the drama's strength lies in its unapologetic embrace of tropes—rebirth, hidden identity, and revenge—while adding a refreshing twist with a plus-sized protagonist who owns her desirability. Audiences celebrate Lorelei's agency; she doesn't wait for a prince but instead chooses independence and rules beside Satan. The chemistry between Lorelei and her demonic allies crackles, though some viewers note that the middle episodes sag under repetitive misunderstandings and melodramatic confrontations. The villains, Declan and Zara, are suitably hissable, but their scheming becomes predictable. Still, the climactic demon court scene, where Lorelei exposes their poisoning plot and summons the Abyss Emperor, earned widespread praise for its visual spectacle and cathartic payoff.

For those who relish a bingeable revenge fantasy with a body-positive twist, this 48-episode ride justifies the coins. It's best suited for fans of vertical dramas who appreciate fast-paced retribution and a heroine who chooses herself over romance. While the pacing stumbles in the middle, the satisfying conclusion and Lorelei's fierce independence make it a worthy watch—and one you might replay just to see the villains get their due.
