The New CEO Treats My Sex Addiction

EDITORIAL REVIEW / CRITIC'S TAKE

Is The New CEO Treats My Sex Addiction Worth Your Time?

The New CEO Treats My Sex Addiction arrives with a title that practically dares you to scroll past, and that's exactly the point. GoodShort's 62-episode romance hooks viewers with a premise that blends taboo therapy, forbidden desire, and corporate intrigue into a deliciously bingeable cocktail. Within the first few episodes, the show establishes Vera's shameful secret and her husband's betrayal, setting the stage for a revenge arc that keeps the narrative momentum brisk. The early hook—a clandestine treatment that blurs the line between doctor and patient—is executed with just enough mystery to keep audiences clicking 'next episode' late into the night.

Community discussions across Reddit and MyDramaList reveal a consensus that the drama's core tropes—hidden identity, revenge, and the classic secretary-to-lover pipeline—are handled with surprising finesse. Fans celebrate Vera's gradual empowerment and the electric chemistry between her and Roy, whose CEO reveal at the gala is a standout moment. However, some viewers note that the middle episodes drag with repetitive misunderstandings and over-the-top melodrama, particularly the husband's cartoonish villainy. Still, the community largely agrees that the satisfying downfall of the villains and the unconventional happy ending make the journey worthwhile. The show's handling of sensitive topics like sex addiction is often praised for avoiding outright exploitation, though a few critics argue it leans too heavily on shock value.

Ultimately, The New CEO Treats My Sex Addiction is a guilty-pleasure binge that knows exactly what its audience wants: steamy romance, righteous revenge, and a heroine who reclaims her agency. It's best suited for fans of dark office romances and redemption arcs who can overlook some pacing hiccups. While it may not convert skeptics of the genre, its addictive blend of taboo and triumph justifies the coins spent—especially for those who love a good public comeuppance. Binge-worthy, if you're in the mood for something scandalously satisfying.
